FACEBOOK ANALOGUE
While it is being perfected
for a bigger, longer showing, below are instructions given out so you can have
a taste of what happened at the beta test.

INSTRUCTIONS
THE PERSONAL CONFRONTATION
(FACEBOOK ME WHILE I AM ACROSS FROM YOU in the SAME ROOM!)
1. Once you come in, please walk up the stairs and
use the yell our loud to call for me. SAY ÒSIYA, I AM HERE!Ó Wait for me to
greet you.
2. Once I come to greet you, I will direct you to
the WHITE ROOM.
In the white room, the walls
will be covered with information from people who I know in Toronto (, perhaps
world wide, depending on space availability), arranged by first name
alphabetical order.
You can see this as the WALL
of FACEBOOK.
Of course, YOU will have
your little section there. Each of the personal section will have combined
information that I gather from knowing you in real life, in virtual life, or
hearsay.
Attached to your section,
there is an envelope, (you can see it as the message inbox of Facebook, or
email inbox), people can freely drop you note/message in there, and you can do
the same to others.
In the envelope, there are :
1. blank stick-it notes for you to write message
2. a picture of you
3. a personal opinion about who you are as I see it
You have the choice of
either putting up the picture of u on your section, or the personal opinion, or
both upon opening the envelope.
If you donÕt choose any
option, I will mark that on your section, so everyone knows that you are here,
but you are lame.
3. Once you make a choice, you are free to walk
around and see who is there (on the wall) and who is ÒthereÓ in our circle of
ÒfriendsÓ in the white room.
You can put stick-it notes
in their envelope, or write to them directly on their sections.
4. DonÕt forget to come back to the White Room once
a while if you are interested in seeing WHO in the party send you message.
